Bobby Drake has over 20 years of experience serving in both career and volunteer capacities. During this time his experiences have centered around operations, training, and administration. Bobby’s passion is new officer development and providing aspiring officers with resources he never received. Currently serving as a Captain with Hanover Fire-EMS in Hanover, VA, he functions as the department’s Health and Safety Officer (HSO). Bobby holds a B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health, is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration, and is currently co-authoring a book related to fire service training. On a personal note, Bobby takes great pride in new officer development and credits much of his success to mentors who focused on his professional development.
