I had a guest that changed the trajectory of my career because HE taught me the power of touch as he was a widower and would come in once a week for a manicure just so he could have someone “hold his hand". We are increasingly getting deeper into a world that is removing human contact...good, positive touch. We need to take the word “treat” out of treatment and give permission to our guests and ourselves to receive touch without guilt but to receive with thanks.
