Strengths Leadership
Research shows that members of high-performance teams rely on their strengths 75% of the time. However, the general population reports that it leans on its strengths less than 20% of the time. Why? Too often, people tend to focus on what they can’t do well instead of what they can do. Utilizing StrengthsFinder™ assessment tool developed by The Gallup Organization, you will have the opportunity to discover your innate, individual talents – the ways in which you naturally think, feel, and behave. Ultimately, having this knowledge helps an individual focus in on their areas of natural ability to consistently excel. StrengthsFinder is based on the premise that weakness-fixing may prevent failure, but strengths-building leads to greater success on a consistent basis.
Using Gallup’s StrengthsFinder™ tool as the framework for this engaging and interactive workshop, you and your peers will focus on the following goals and outcomes:
- Identify and understand your own Top 5 strengths.
- Discover how to enhance your own natural talents and put strengths to use in the workplace.
- Utilize strengths to work more effectively in a leadership role.
- Review how strengths play into team dynamics and environment.
- Develop an individual action plan to achieve desired outcomes.
The fee for this workshop covers the cost of the online StrengthsFinder™ assessment tool. Prior to the conference, you will receive a link and instructions for completing the assessment. Your results will be available immediately. The presenter, Kimberly Cutchall, will also obtain a copy of your results for the sole purpose of preparing for the workshop.
