All school districts serve students who require special diet accommodations to keep their meals safe to eat.
A clearly written policy accessible to all with consistent communication and training for school staff is key to a
successful special meal program. We will share how we developed our policy, what parameters and tools we use to
identify students who require diet accommodations, and the different ways we provide these meal accommodation
services.
