In today’s threat environment, in today’s era of hybrid warfare, thinking differently about capabilities and challenges, and being innovative in our approaches is the only way to accomplish the mission. And information technology (IT) drives today’s missions. Modern warfare today is digital warfare. The efficiency, effectiveness, reliability, and last, but certainly not least, security of every single computer across DoD – whether in a tank, gun, bomb, ship, laptop, or satellite – is of incomparable criticality. Technology has changed, and the Department’s tactics and strategy are also changing to meet that threat. How can DoD accelerate speed to solutions in federal IT – thinking differently, partnering constructively with industry, more quickly integrating effective products, and lowering costs?
