Included in the topics to be covered will be: Purpose of sequential detonation; defining a goal for the blast; defining site-specific conditions that influence blast timing configurations; vibration control; geological considerations; fragmentation optimization; ore loss/dilution prevention; slope protection; controlling muckpile displacement; selecting the point of initiation; timing configuration performance analysis and refinement.
