While the release of GSA’s 2016 Guiding Principles makes federal requirements more stringent, they also offer an opportunity to streamline management and inform decisions that can drive high performance operations. This interagency panel will discuss how the GSA strategy integrates energy, water, materials, waste, health/wellness, and climate risk to support building management and compliance. Panelists will also share how they balanced requirements, resources, and value add to better achieve high performance in existing buildings.
