There is currently a lot of controversy about cyanuric acid (CYA) chlorine stabilizer. We will discuss its advantages, disadvantages and current debate about his topic in the Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC). Disinfection of recreational water will be covered, with the emphasis on what is new and potential changes in the MAHC that affect disinfection. In addition to killing germs, the killing of algae will also be covered.
