E-retailers in the fashion category know the brand persona dictates everything from the look of models chosen to the style of photography used, music on the catwalk and the voice of all messaging. Is your website design, flow -- indeed “speed” -- in total harmony with aspirations of the brand as envisioned? Fashion e-retailers – including those beyond the apparel category such as home furnishings and personal electronics – invest great resources to establish a cohesive brand presence that can be undermined on the website if design falls short. In this session, our design and usability expert will illustrate through examples how some brands excel and how others fail to weave their persona into the website. Attendees will volunteer their websites for live critiques and go home with practical recommendations to ensure the brand vision and online experience are in sync.
