Amazon & Me Workshop
This opening session will equip attendees with the foundation needed to get the most out of today’s workshop. We’ll cover selling on Amazon for brands acting as wholesalers. These sellers are designated as first-party or 1P, and the Amazon program they sell through is known as Vendor Central. We’ll also cover brands and retailers selling to consumers on the Amazon marketplace. These “marketplace” sellers are designated as third-party or 3P, and they sell on Amazon through a platform called Seller Central. The workshop also will touch on Amazon’s Fulfillment Central network, logistics aspirations, Fresh, Prime Now and all the other major Amazon initiatives affecting 1P and 3P sellers.
