This presentation will cover, through PowerPoint presentation and demonstration, the process an employee should inspect their various types of clothing. Discoloration, tears, worn fabric improper cleaning all have adverse effects on the ability of your PPE to protect you. Following manufacturers cleaning recommendation and proper storage is important. Knowing the limitations of your clothing and its use is also important. Reassembly of the clothing (i.e. hood assembly, ventilation equipment) after cleaning is critical to maintain the performance of the equipment as tested by the manufacturer.
