This session will provide the learner with a review of the evidence for stoma site marking. Presentation will include site marking of the difficult abdomen including those with obesity, scarring from injury or previous surgeries, narrow or impaired rectus muscle, skin wrinkles and creases, pregnancy, and hernias. Case studies and video demonstration of the abdominal assessment and site marking will be included.
