In 2014, Holcim Canada considered the possibility to drill and blast 600,000 M.T. to expose a limestone bench in one of its urban quarry in Laval, Canada. The project includes many challenges and was qualified as high risk operation. PROTEKROC, a drilling and blasting consultant, was commissioned to design the blasts.
