Injury and Illness Recordkeeping: Did You Know? (Room 240)

OSHA injury and illness recordkeeping sometimes makes even experienced EHS professionals scratch their heads. Because recordkeeping is situational, the recordability of a case isn’t always clear. For instance, did you know that OSHA requires the reporting of a fingertip amputation, but not an avulsion? It can be difficult to tell the difference. But recordkeeping doesn’t have to be so difficult. In this session, we’ll explore how OSHA’s letters of interpretation, frequently asked questions, directives and other guidance documents can point you in the right direction – so you’ll always be in the know.
