Michelle joined Avis Budget Group in June of 2018, as the Safety Manager for the Western District. Michelle specializes in general industry Federal and State Plan OSHA standards. She is a subject matter expert on topics, such as injury and illness recordkeeping, welding, powered industrial trucks, machine guarding, walking and working surfaces and confined spaces. Before joining Avis Budget Group, Michelle was a Safety and Health professional, with over 18 years. She developed and implemented safety policies and procedures, developed and conducted safety training, performed facility and corporate safety audits and accident investigations, and managed Workers Compensation cases. Michelle earned a bachelor’s degree University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a master’s degree in Industrial Safety from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Michelle also earned her ASP and SMS certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
