Implementing the NFPA 70E 2018 Changes: A “Shockingly” Simplified List "HOT" (Room 244)

Now that multinationals and large industries finally have their NFPA 70E 2015 electrical safety programs running, it’s time to change to NFPA 70E 2018! Many experts can speak about the changes, but this presentation is different – it will provide a quick implementation guide to help non-electrical EHS managers apply the 2018 changes. One of the speakers, who has implemented a 70E program at a multinational in South Africa, discusses some challenges and methods for resolving them. Hugh Hoagland, an international arc flash safety specialist, will then recommend guidelines to help non-electrical EHS managers transition into NFPA 70E 2018.
