Using Temporary Workers: Checklists for Host Employers "HOT" (Room 241)

Use of a temporary workforce is appealing to many employers. But this practice does not come without risk. OSHA’s 2013 Temporary Worker Initiative has begun to define roles and responsibilities for staffing firms and host employers in safeguarding temporary workers. But there are still many gaps in understanding how to implement systems that ensure safety for all workers. Session attendees will learn the safety responsibilities of staffing firms and host employers and hear firsthand from staffing firms the pitfalls they encounter most in their host employer relationships. You’ll gain some important tips you can implement to reduce the risks of employing temporary workers.
