Immigration Data Integration Initiative Panel Discussion

Launched in September 2016, the DHS Data Integration Initiative (IDII) aims to ensure uniform Department-wide immigration data standards, to give the Department’s data stakeholders real- or near real-time access to relevant data from across the Department and its interagency partners, and to ensure that immigration records are fully linkable across DHS data systems. This panel provides an overview of the Initiative and a status report on its progress to-date. Panelists from DHS headquarters, ICE, and USCIS will describe current efforts to strengthen component- and enterprise-level data governance policies, as well as short- and long-term plans for establishing a more integrated data infrastructure. The panel will also preview the DHS Immigration Enforcement Lifecycle, a key IDII use case.
