Recognizing the potential of Rapid DNA for point of collection analysis, the FBI has been assessing the technology and building the infrastructure needed for the use of these machines in booking stations to allow for arrestee DNA profiles to be entered into the U.S. national DNA database.  The presentation will outline the FBI's vision for introducing booking station Rapid DNA analysis following a change in federal law.
