The NPC requires all Certified Start-Up Technicians to be recertified every three years. Greg Garrett will review the essentials of a good start-up as well as present any of the latest research and changes to the NPC Start-Up procedures card. Each student will learn how to "test" their test kits with standard reference solutions. In addition, required methods used to determine carbonate alkalinity and calculate the Langlier Saturation Index will be discussed. The course ends with a short 25 question exam.
This course requires separate registration and is not included as part of the 4 day technical pass.
