This presentation will cover salient developments in state and federal COVID-related enforcement, with an emphasis on major federal programs such as the Provider Relief Fund, Paycheck Protection Program; telehealth enforcement and the legal risks for companies utilizing telehealth services under COVID-19 waivers; and coding issues during pandemic exposing companies to potential enforcement.  Our learning objectives with respect to the presentation are: (1) understanding COVID-19 enforcement activity in the health care space; (2) developing strategies for mitigating COVID-19-related enforcement risk for health care entities; and (3) understanding how to respond to healthcare-related government investigations and inquiries targeting participation in state/federal COVID-19 stimulus programs.
