The new cold mill complex in operation at Yıldız Demir Çelik features the latest technologies to produce 1.5 million tons per year of high-quality cold-rolled, tempered and coated coils satisfying most demanding end users. Rolling mill technologies like OSRT, ultralow hysteresis HAGC and the latest processing technologies such as a new-generation wiping system have been applied with performance levels that are even exceeding the expectations in terms of strip flatness and thickness control (both in steady-state and transient phases) and zinc layer control during high-speed thin coating.
