Induction heating is designed to provide profitable heating solutions to the steel industry with regard to both hot rolling mill and cold processing lines. Production capacities are requiring power and power densities much higher than standard induction heating solutions. The specific environment requires the inductors to be compatible with continuous high temperatures, tough operating conditions on the hot mill (water - scale) or operating capability under specific atmospheres, for instance, on processing lines. Induction heating is based on the laws of physics such as those of Maxwell, Lenz and the skin effect.
