Crane Remote Driving: Applications in Meltshop area (Room 209 C)

Presentation of engineering and commissioning of Charging Crane Remote control, with first operation feedback. Crane operator is no longer exposed to EAF scrap charging hazards: the control is performed from a safe control room with increased ergonomics. Crane is not command anymore from joysticks, but from guided from touch Screens. One single operator is supervising the activities of EAF Crane and EAF. A smart CCTV-camera system automatically interacts with crane and technological process giving to the operator an enhanced vision of the action.
