This paper proposes a software model architecture to implement an ordinary differential equation solver in real time for use in digital twin environments. This proposal is based in the runge-kutta method for solving state-space models in real time, which can be implemented also using other methods, where the inputs and outputs are connected to the digital twin model with the objective to represent a better details of the physics process happening in the asset to simulate, and in this way test and validate the automation systems.
