This presentation will focus on how to create a return on investment (ROI) by using an RFID solution to combat theft in retail stores, and automatically update inventory when losses occur. Gain an understanding of how the latest RFID label-based solutions can now be used to trigger alarms at the store exit and provide automated inventory updates when items are stolen. The presentation will include an analysis of an ROI return when loss prevention and inventory logistics budgets are applied to a single label. Finally, we will explore the use of RFID as compared to traditional electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems and expose some of the myths.
