Having been involved with RFID since 1994, Philip Calderbank is now considered to be a pioneer in the technology and its various applications. He was one of the first people to propose the use of RFID for tracking textile apparel garments in retail stores and across logistics operations. Prior to being active in RFID, Philip spent 13 years at Sensormatic where he built his experience in Electronic Article Surveillance and Loss Prevention. Previously, he has held senior roles at Avery Dennison, Impinj, Invengo and the SML Group. While in these positions he has worked extensively in China, Hong Kong, Europe and the USA.
