January 23, 1968, The USS Pueblo, an unarmed U. S. Navy vessel, while sailing in international waters, was attacked and illegally seized by North Korea. Although previously unknown, by evening the ship would be in headlines around the world. This will be a first-hand account by Chief Petty Officer James Kell, Assistant Officer in Charge, Special Operations. He along with the rest of the crew, survived 11 months of torture by their captors, before being freed by a pressured, false confession, by the U.S. Government.
