This LI provides a practical, easy-to-understand introduction to a neuroscience-informed re-conceptualization of the conventional A-B-C model from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, providing opportunities for participants to practice applying the new model to hypothetical cases. Foundational neuroscience concepts will be reviewed. Emerging research on the model is described. Client handouts and worksheets will be provided for practitioners to use in their counseling practices.
