This poster session will present the findings of a study that compared fathers’ parenting styles and satisfaction by sexual orientation. The session will discuss methodology that included both qualitative and quantitative data, and themes found within the responses. The presenters will discuss implications for future research based on the results and contributions to the field of counseling that include understanding barriers faced due to sexual orientation, male identity, and the changing of family systems.
