Counseling, unlike other related helping professions, usually has no corresponding undergraduate major and, therefore, undergraduate students in the helping professions do not have the opportunity to learn the identity of the professional counselor until after they are enrolled in a master’s program. This poster session will describe a Chi Sigma Iota chapter’s implementation of a program that advocates for professional counseling identity with undergraduate students in various helping profession majors.
