It is essential that counselor educators integrate equity-based college and career readiness standards into school counseling programs. The presenter will provide participants with a sample syllabus for a course that integrates career development theories with college planning for P-12. The presenter will share activities and field experiences that can be used throughout a counseling program to better prepare school counselors-in-training for meeting the college and career readiness needs of all P-12 students.
