Can women thrive or only survive after trauma? What if counselors tapped the capacity for resilience in these clients? A strength-based foundation is gaining in the field of traumatology, and this session incorporates asset building with other approved approaches for counseling clients with trauma history, helping them gain control and predictability for growth beyond survival of trauma. A reference list and handouts for application are provided.
