Distance learning in counselor education programs has shifted the internship process to allow for new sites in locations not previously accessible to students or institutions. This resulting shift provides new training opportunities for counselors, yet also brings challenges that affect the trainee, the program, and the site. This roundtable explores the distance field experience, including ideas for supporting students, sites, and programs.
