A state-of-the-art, virtual, online counselor education classroom will be presented to include its inherent advantages and challenges. Recent survey results of online counselor education programs will inform the discussion. A live demonstration using a cutting-edge video conferencing platform will follow. Attendees will learn how to foster a productive, virtual, remote classroom environment that reduces faculty-student social distance. Counselors will learn to use HIPAA-compliant technologies in their practice.
