Responding to the death of a student on campus is difficult. This session will present HEMHA’s “postvention” guide to suicide on campus. It will look to address this gap and the difficulty of response by first defining “postvention.” It will then address goals, plans, coordination, implementation, and challenges. The session also will include how to address family, media, social media, and the public. Included will be discussion about clinical services and legal issues.
