This session will focus on the issues of sex trauma and sexuality that are often evidenced among military and veteran populations. Focus will center on sexual assault, hypersexual behavior, and the lack of sexual desire. The issue of male sexual assault is often considered a taboo topic to discuss because of masculinity issues. Furthermore, lack of sexual desire is a common underlying problem among married and military couples where one partner has served in a combat or other traumatic setting.
