Professor Larry Ashley Ed.S, LPC, LMSW is Counseling and Addictions Curriculum Project Manager in the Department of Counseling and Special Education at Central Michigan University and Professor Emeritus of Counseling at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has over 40 years experience as a Researcher, University Professor, and Therapist in the areas of Addiction and Trauma. Professor Ashley specializes in the treatment of Combat Trauma related  issues. He has trained US Army therapists in Europe and the US. In addition, he has presented and offered trainings relative combat related PTSD in America and many foreign countries and developed the first course on Combat Trauma at a American University. He has a special interest in the impact of war on soldiers worldwide. Professor Ashley is an US Army Vietnam veteran.
