Public opinion polls show strong support for hydropower, but regulations and policies add time and cost to development and operation. What can be done to realign the policies to better reflect the general support for hydro? Panelist will discuss the public’s perceptions of hydro based on polling data, how this is not necessarily reflected in current government policy and what can be done to bring the two more in line.
