David L. Bowling is the General Manager of River Management (RvM) with the responsibility for the operation and planning of TVA's integrated river control system to meet the varied demands on the Tennessee River system. David has over 23 years’ service in TVA, holding a wide variety of management positions related to water management including: • Flood Hydrologist • Water Quality Project Manager • River Forecast Center Lead Engineer and Manager • Manager – River Operation Evaluations • Hydro Production Plant Manager • General Manager of Dam Safety Governance • TVA Dam Safety Officer Education: • Master in Civil Engineering, University Tennessee • Bachelors of Agricultural Engineering, University Tennessee
