An effective strategy for managing conflict is key for a healthy agency. It also needs to be competitive, manage risk well and be able to minimize unexpected costs. Through presentation, role play and group discussion, you’ll be introduced to and learn the benefits of the concept of an Integrated Conflict Management System (ICMS), which provides options for preventing, identifying and resolving all types of agency conflict. You’ll learn how the system can improve agency performance, particularly as it applies to administrative investigations, sexual harassment, performance and disciplinary actions, alternative discipline, and alternative dispute resolution.
