Many retailers see what Amazon and others are doing to personalize product recommendations and worry about keeping up. But the more they worry about the time and skill required, the longer it lingers on the back burner. This session will break through that with a look at various fast-track approaches to personalizing product recommendations. Our speakers will address the tradeoffs in different approaches to making product recommendations to customers, such as basing them on predicted loyalty, value, lifecycle stage or purchasing tendencies by time and by product. We’ll also hear how one retail marketer with no background in data analysis applied these insights to email campaigns to achieve big results.
