The AMERICAN INDIAN ALASKA NATIVE VETERANS MEMORIAL COMMITTEE (AIANVMC) looks forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of San Diego at the 32nd National Indian Gaming Association's Conference and Tradeshow.  We were in Phoenix last year and anticipate seeing friends who came by then -- and adding new friends this April.  Our efforts to raise funds for the AMERICAN INDIAN VETERANS MEMORIAL at RIVERSIDE NATIONAL CEMETERY continue. (All donations go solely to construction of the Memorial -- our Committee works voluntarilyto honor our American Indian Veterans .)

The National Cemetery Administration has approved the RNC site  alongside a lake and includes a walkway where veterans, their families and school children can walk alongside 13 monuments included on the plan.  Renowned sculptor A.Thomas Schomberg has created the center piece monument, The Gift -- see it at http/www.AIANveteransMemorial.com and http/www/schombergstudios.com.

While you are in Southern California we invite you to join us at Riverside National Cemetery, Saturday, April 8 at 1:00 p.m. .  This will be a free event that will include a TRADITIONAL HONORING AND CULTURAL TRIBUTE TO AMERICAN INDIAN, ALASKA NATIVE AND ALL WARRIORS AT THEIR SACRED RESTING PLACE  There is seating in the RNC Amphitheater or you can bring your own lawn chairs. RNC is north of San Diego at 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA.

"We are honored to be a part of the effort to see that construction can begin within the next 18 months and look forward to the dedication of the American Indian Veterans Monument at this sacred site."  National Commander Donald Loudner, National American Indian Veterans, Inc., Korean War Veteran, July 2016

"For Indian people, whatever the differences in geography, languages, spiritual or cultural practices, there is one common value and that is to protect one's home and people. The warrior spirit is ... highly honored and respected. That's why we feel strongly that our veterans deserve recognition, a war memorial, to stand with the other sacred monuments dedicated to the many heroes who have served our country ... a visible testimony where people will actually see and feel the sacrifices Indian people have made and continue to make for love of this country." Bo Mazzetti, AIANVMC Honorary Chairman, Rincon Tribal Chairman, USN veteran, Nov. 2016,
