Bethany Yellowtail of byellowtail.com has joined forces with Sarah Eagle Heart, CEO of Native Americans in Philanthropy (NAP) to launch SACREDx, a social impact initiative. The powerhouse duo are on a mission to dress the resistance, and bring indigenous voices back to the forefront. Yellowtail and Eagle Heart’s first collaboration circled around producing a bandana for the Women’s March on Washington, and with overwhelming success the turquoise swath has rapidly grown to become a recognizable symbol for #IndigenousWomenRise. This quickly sparked an immediate call to action, leading to the development of a full-fledged clothing line of “resistance gear.”
