Dick Rizzo holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lehigh University. In 1986, he graduated from Stanford University’s Executive Management Program. Rizzo joined Tutor Perini Building Corp. in 1977 and has held various management positions throughout his tenure. He works closely with other members of the executive team to develop and maintain the company’s vision and is instrumental in project negotiations and client maintenance. Rizzo is largely responsible for market planning and research and oversees marketing strategies with particular emphasis on developing national clients. Dick has served on numerous boards in the Las Vegas community which currently include the University of Nevada School of Engineering Advisory Council, Three Square Food Bank, Boy Scouts of America Las Vegas, and Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada. Advocating on behalf of those in need is part of Dick’s personal and professional life. He believes that giving back through donations and training is not only the right thing to do, it’s necessary for the prosperity of our communities. Rizzo is the recipient of many accolades, including the Sarno Lifetime Achievement Award for the American Gaming Association (AGA); 2009 Hospitality Industry Network (HOSPY) Achievement Award; 2002 Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Humanitarian Award; and the Abe Venable Lifetime Achievement Award from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency.
