Walter R. Watts III Walter is the Training & Development Manager for Sycuan Casino and Resort, originally from Chicago, Illinois he has called San Diego home for the past 25 years. Walter’s background in Training and Development spans 30+ years. He has worked with the San Diego Workforce Partnership, San Diego City Schools, Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce, Sweetwater Union High School District and various nonprofit organizations developing and implementing training, career and workforce development programs. Walter is a 24 year Navy veteran and holds a Bachelor of Technical Education and Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology from National University. He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development nationally and has served on the Board of Directors for the local chapter. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors of the Urban League of San Diego County. Walter is an instructor at San Diego State Universities College of Extended Studies. In his spare time Walter is an avid golfer and jazz enthusiast.
