Steve Neely is the Chief Marketing Officer at Sol Casinos in Tucson, Arizona, an Enterprise of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and owner of Casino Del Sol and Casino of the Sun. Steve has held a senior level casino positions at a number of properties around the country including Pechanga Resort and Casino in Southern California, Isleta Casino and Resort and Sandia Resort and Casino’s in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was the Corporate Director of Marketing for Cherokee Nation Enterprises, and oversaw the marketing activities of their seven properties in Eastern Oklahoma. In addition to his property level experience, Steve was also the VP of Client Services and Special Projects with SMP Communications Corp. of Scottsdale, Arizona, a full-service casino marketing firm specializing in strategic process and program development and implementation, and his clients included the Seminole Hard Rock’s in South Florida, the Ho-Chunk Nation in Wisconsin as well as Sycuan Casino in San Diego. Having worked in properties of all sizes all over the country, as well as both Class II and Class III environments, Steve brings with him a wealth of experience and ideas that will fit virtually any situation.
