Ryan Doherty is a principal in EY’s Government and Public Sector practice, where he leads the AI and Data consulting practice area. He is an experienced technology executive with deep expertise in data, AI, and technology transformation across the public and private sectors. Ryan focuses on helping federal, state, and local government clients solve complex challenges through data‑driven and AI‑enabled solutions, improving outcomes for constituents and communities. Before joining EY, Ryan served as a Lead Account Partner at IBM Consulting, delivering large‑scale data and technology modernization programs for government and commercial clients while building diverse, high‑performing teams. He holds a BSBA in Finance from American University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys time with his wife and young son, good coffee, staying active outdoors, and exploring far too many hobbies to list.
