Gregg Treml is the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Administrative Officer for the EPA. His responsibilities span across human capital, financial operations and management, budget and strategic planning, contracts, grants, facilities, and information systems. Gregg serves as EPA’s Chief Risk Officer and his portfolio also includes continuous improvement efforts and evidence and evaluation. Prior to joining EPA, Gregg served as Assistant Inspector General and Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General. Gregg has also held leadership roles in budget, finance, and human resources at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service, and the Department of Homeland Security. Gregg earned a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, with minors in Finance and Western Civilization, from Providence College.
