Christian is a Principal with CLA – Clifton Larson Allen supporting public sector. Along with 10 years in government, Christian has more than 25 years building and leading practices that support government, higher education and not-for-profit organizations. Most of his focus has always been with US state and provincial and local government where Christian has supported “the business of government” and has led engagements providing financial management, grants management, budget system deployment, organizational improvement, strategic planning, control structure review and development, technology planning, design, deployment and project oversight. He has also had leadership roles in projects with national and local governments globally in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South and Central America, Europe. Additionally, he has served the United Nations Secretariat, The World Food Program and the African Union along with many universities, NGOs and NFP organizations. Christian began his career working in the governor’s office of Ohio before transitioning to become the deputy director and president of the Ohio Controlling Board and briefly as acting director. Since 1999 he has held senior roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers/IBM consulting, SAP, Gartner Consulting, and Grant Thornton and Cherry Bekaert.
